Roger and Daisy
Roger and Daisy: Roger and Daisy were rescued from an unpleasant situation and brought to a shelter. Roger’s gregarious personality and comical "up ear-down ear" look, and Daisy's beautiful markings drew us to them instantly. They’ve been with us for over two years and we love them dearly!

Boo and Belle
Boo and Belle: These big bunnies were in a shelter for a long time after being rescued. Their large size and pink eyes made them not the first choice for bunny adopters. But one look in their eyes and I fell in love! They are very sweet bunnies with hearts of gold, and I’m so glad I found them!

Frosty
Frosty: I received a phone call from a local rescue group about 2 weeks after Easter. A lady had found a white rabbit in her yard. The rescue group was full and asked me if I would take in the rabbit temporarily. I brought the small white rabbit in the house and put it in an old temporary rabbit cage. I opened the door to let her explore the room. She jumped right into my lap and into my heart! My husband took one look at me sitting in the middle of the floor holding the rabbit and said, "Call the rescue and tell them you found a home the rabbit, I couldn’t live with you if anyone took her away." She quickly became a member of our family including dogs, cats, and guinea pigs.

Hopscotch
Hopscotch: Hopscotch is an adorable dwarf mix whose time was nearly up at the Durham County Animal Shelter. A rescue group saved him by taking him in. When I met him, he had been with the rescue group a few months. I fell in love with him immediately but could not adopt him right away. The rescue group offered me the chance to foster him temporarily, and a short time later I adopted him. I can't believe this sweet, affectionate little bunny almost lost his life!

Zorro
Zorro: I received a phone call at Dance with the Bunnies Rabbit Rescue the week that school ended. The teacher was frantic. It was the end of the school year and she wanted to "get rid" of it. She didn't know what sex he was or even have a name for him. We named him Zorro because he was white with brown rings that looks like a mask around his eyes. We took took him in and gave him lots of love and attention. Ultimately, we placed him in a new home with a wonderful young lady whose husband is serving in Iraq. He bounces around her house keeping her company and is having a great time. His new dad can't wait to come home and meet him.

Tuscan
Tuscan: In 2003 someone left several domestic rabbits in the parking lot of the RBC Center in Raleigh. The SPCA of Wake County rescued them and set out to find all of them homes. I read an article about the rabbits one day at work so I decided to check out their website. Most had been adopted, but there was a cute brown bunny waiting and I knew he was going to be my bunny. He was very patient with me as I learned how to care for him properly. Tuscan has lived with us for 5 years and brings a smile to my face every day. He is my snuggle bunny and lets me cuddle with him as much as I want!

Moose
Moose: Shortly after adopting my first rabbit, Tuscan, I decided to adopt a friend for him. I began looking on Petfinder and I saw a little dwarf bunny that was too cute. Her mom was an RBC bunny and their family had no idea she was pregnant when they adopted her. Moose caught our eye immediately and when we met her we realized she was full of personality. She was a tough one at first, but we loved her anyway! She is so smart and loves to investigate new things and solve problems. I am constantly amazed at how smart she is!! She is very bonded with Tuscan and would be lost without him.
